Getting vaccine into a blood vessel is always a no-no!

Robyn, you could avoid wasting vaccine by sticking the needle in without the
syringe attached. You can give an injection that way so horse hardly feels
is by flicking the needle in really fast. And if you hit a blood vessel you
see it right away because blood will come out, then all you have to do is
reposition the needle and then attach the syringe.
