If you're going to breed him, Janice, it's imperative that you establish your farm name - it MUST be part of the puppies' registered names you know. Is Solva Icelandic Terriers exporting more? Are you going to enter him in the big national dog show at Madison Square Gardens? He might win "Best of Breed" since he's the only one in the country! I was going to take in a black puppy from the pound, but it's so tempting to be one of the first to get a rare breed - I could be the first in my neighborhood and I could be sooo special. No, wait, I think I'll just wait on the next throwaway dog to show up looking for a home...whatever the color, whatever the breed.
