Skye, I'll try to find info. I like the black rasp as well, those are the two I use. Mostly the Save Edge as they're at the ranch store I frequent.
I'm even thinking it may be save edge that sharpens them. They sharpen them by dipping them in something as I recall. I've heard people that have had it done say it is quite effective, especially cost wise! I think they will only do them in lots of 6 or 12 or something like that, so most people don't bother to save them up that long, but for an active farrier no problem! And it may just be that you need to send them in lots of 6 or more to make it cost effective? The memory just isn't what it used to be!
