Maja was truly a black horse when she came here from British Columbia. And she hasn't been truly black since. Same for Eitill, from Michigan. I do believe that the fact that we're slightly closer to the equator, coupled with the high number of sunny days make horses fade much more noticeably here. Nasi is not the same color as Maja, Eitill, Brunka, Ima or Falki. He's much closer in color to Flekka...except she has spots. Karen Thomas, NC [EMAIL PROTECTED]
