all horses need loose minerals!  A salt block is not enough even if
they stand there all day every day licking it.  I put loose minerals
in the feed so they can eat what they need and leave the rest in the
bucket and come back later if they want to.  I have a good loose
mineral my vet suggested.  It is Alliance Gro Strong.  He said horses,
goats, everything just seem to bloom on it.  bearing in mind mineral
need varies from geographic location to location depending on minerals
in the soil/grass/hay.  But my horses did seem to bloom on it.
