I do not like tight nosebands....however I do ride with a drop
noseband properly fitted, loose with a lot of air between the band
and my horse....if its tight the horse will tell you so....
I did see a picture in the 'At a Gait' magizine, June/July issue on
page 35 that surprised me.....
The rider is bareback in a bitless bridle, and the horses mouth is
gaping and has that wild eye look....no tight drop nose band, no bit,
no pinching saddle....
