well what gets me... of all the gaited breeds, this is the only one where you cant even talk about differences in gait without everyone getting all confused and flipped out. whats up with that?? And until just a moment ago when Vicka refreshingly freely admitted tolt is every easy gait there is on the planet, I could never get any real answer on what is saddle rack in icelandics. They dont saddle rack they say. but they do. Americans dont say that because it is preferred they say it because thats what they see.
I have asked til I am blue in the face "Is tolt saddle rack or rack" and most people who seem more savvy than the rest say it is rack. But some say there is no such thing in the english language, its just tolt pure and simple etc. But thank God Vicka has finally defined tolt for us. Its EVERYTHING. thats nice to have it settled finally! what a relief! as for the einsteins Karen, my favorite was the einstein who said saddle rack doesnt exist, it is a name made up by stupid americans--- exact quote--- for a gait that does not exist.
