>>>> TEEV IS DOING A FOXWALKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations, Janice and Tivar!
I think this is one reason why we need to learn about gaits - so we can all celebrate it when a horse makes genuine and freely offered progress step into gaitedness...instead of being apologetic that a perfectly wonderful horse like Tivar doesn't do the breed's signature gait when he's so great in SO many important ways. I owned Tivar for a brief period last year, during which a bully on another list told me that he should be eaten. That incident still makes me see red. I can't believe that primitive attitude is still around - it makes me sick. Look at the fun Janice apparently has had with him since she got him last November, and now this...? I'm so happy for both of you. Janice, please give Tivar a hug from me, and pat yourself on the back too for letting him be what he is. This is great. You too are a real match.
