This is a very small world: the Icelandics in the USA. It's hard to name a horse on this list without someone popping up that they own a relative. Sounds like you hit paydirt with her mom and a brother here - and the brother I own is from the father's side. As for saddles, many of us are having great results with treeless saddles with our Icelandics. Her brother that I own is a fairly good sized Icelandic, but has a short back - we use treeless on him, usually one of the Sensations. I also have a Torsion Extra Lite that's working pretty well.
