Yea, but when you sit in the saddle, the foam in the
pad and saddle compress, so it is not as tight,
actually can become too loose, so I overtighten to
start with, too.

I lost the link to that with my last computer.  Do you
have the actual name, it is not under saddle
stabilizer, and I can't find it on the computer
anywhere.  I've been practicing with the lead rope
under Whisper's arm pit, and she doesn't mind it. 
Otherwise, I might just get a long dog leash, and get
a sheepskin cover like for your shoulder strap on your
seat belt to cover the area that goes under the arm
pit so it will be more comfy for them.
