------------And who says semantics don't matter ;-).  But I can 
honestly say that I've never seen the attitude of "us versus them being 
right" in any Icelander I've ever met.  What I've personally seen are 
open, honest folks who were eager to learn more about American culture 
and were more than willing to use the language that we understand.
