I am beginning to think Judy is the new Lee, altho no one could ever replace her, Judy comes closer to understanding all the elements of gait than anyone except Liz... I am grateful we have Judy to help explain it. Its very complicated. I mean, you have people like me, I can recognize under saddle two or three gaits on certain horses who do it a certain way... yet I know so much more than most... isnt that scarey...
the old man I got some horses from who has bred walkers 55 years, I asked could he tell if one was going to be nicely gaited under saddle as a youngster, he said "I can tell when they hit the ground by the build if they CAN but any breeder tells you this baby is guaranteed to gait under saddle, even if its gaitin on the ground, is a liar." janice -- yipie tie yie yo
