I do believe that it is recommended that GFE be diluted in water for use with raw meat, throat rinse, etc. If Huggin has throat ulcers/abscesses, it seems this highly concentrated citrus extract would be very painful and even caustic if not diluted. Cheryl, do you remember if you diluted the GFE you gave to Mosa? I'm hoping that the vet hosp. has him on antivirals...a low WBC count can indicate viral infection. It seems they would have him on antivirals since his temps are not responding to the antibiotics. I know Raven already has lots to think about but here is a link that will give her or Debbie an idea of the dilution ratio. Rather than increasing the concentration, you increase the frequency of dosing in acute cases (which Huggin certainly is).
