Ha...but that's the thing.  Everyone is on a learning curve with this.
 Nothing to be ashamed of...if you weren't born staring at a gaited
horse, where in the world would you pick up this information??

To me when I first got Icelandics and they were smooth...it was a
tolt.  And then I ended up with a very stiff old boy and I had to
determine what he was doing in order to help loosen him up.  I can see
now that he did a nice little stepping pace and occassionally moved
into a fox trot...but at the time I thought it was all pace..

Now I'll send in a pic and ask what the horse is doing and
occassionally throw in what I think as well...and I get a good opinion
on what it is.   That's good information for me...

I still want to get a good video of Gusti trotting in order to
determine where it is on the gait scale because it sure is smooth.
