Brachiocephalicus was Alexander the Great's second string horse.
Alexander only used Brachiocephalicus when Bucephalus was out getting
his hooves done. Not known for particular speed, or power, or courage,
Brachiocephalicus' greatest achievement was carrying Alexander into --
and then immediately out of -- the battle for the Thessalonian Cheese
Stick Temple in 324 AD. He bolted. Alexander then ate him.
