I know this story is almost unbelievable but octopi are incredibly smart. I remember an old film where two tanks were side by side in a lab. One had an octopus and the other some sort of fish. Every morning, the fish was gone. The scientists couldn't figure it out and installed a video camera. It turned out the octupus as climbing out of his tank and over to the other one, eating the fish and climbing back to his old tank! What my dad marveled at was how each bill as laid on so neatly and precisely, almost as if he was at the teller window at a bank.
