I am worked to DEATH and didnt get to ride this weekend but oh my... we fenced off a large paddock, my husband cleaned up all the paddocks with his tractor disc, and we fertilized my one pasture where I ACTUALLY HAVE GRASS since the rain came BACk aI AM SOOOO GRATEFUL!!! and then we planted grass seed in the adjacent pasture after fencing the horses off from it!
Soooo yet another 300 bucks for grass seed, another hundred for fertilizer, this is like the fifth time I have seeded this one pasture. But at least one has taken off and now I have hopes for this other one! Poor horses tho! No turn out for grass for two weeks til the fertilizer is washed away or dispersed... how long does it take actually??? and then probably 2 months on the just planted grass... but they can be turned out in front which they enjoy--- always knocking the satellite dish outa whack and eating rosebuds etc... I am so stiff and sore but feel good!! Janice -- yipie tie yie yo
