My little Papillon dog has been sick for the past 11 days and today was diagnosed with Lyme disease. It was only at my insistence that the titer was even done as it is not common in this area. I've been doing alot of research and came across this website which Raven may find helpful. There is a good article on ehrlichiosis and an article on hemotropic disease in horses. There are many types of ehrlichiosis and it has only recently been discovered that the larvae of a fluke in water snails can be one of the vectors if river water is ingested.
