I was joking. He's a TWH that is on the trotty side of gaitedness and I decided that for endurance trotting was a good thing, giving him a nice break from his preferred rack. So, I allow him to trot, which for some gaited breeds is considered blasphemy. One of the many things that drew me to Icelandics is that they are encouraged to trot as well as tolt.
