To me, being able to watch wild life, is one of the wonderfuls thing about
living in the middle of nowhere. We have some apple trees that drop apples
every day. They are hard and very sour still but like clockwork, some does
and their babies come out every morning and evening to check for apples (the
bucks are chickens and stay at the edge of the woods). One of the does has
twins and I love to see them play. They come really close and are not shy at
all - when to talk to them they just look at me, swivel their ears and
continue eating their apples. Our builder even watched one doe with triplets
and I am still waiting to see them.
