You are generalizing! You need to expose yourself to Icelandic mares. Karen's or mine or any Icelandic mares for that matter. They advertise that they are in heat only when there is a stallion and they are witchy- bitchy - etc. only when a stallion tries to breed them when they are not ready and I understand that perfectly well. I realize that I am now generalizing about Icelandic mares. But I think I can because I have owned MANY Icelandic mares and never had a single moody one. Anneliese
