Hreggur used to try ignore me, or just not come in when he was sore. At first I ignored this, and would ride anyway (geez...what a capital B)...but when I realized that during those rides he was not at his best, I learned to take a hint and leave him alone on those days. Other days he would appear at the fence waiting for me and then I knew that taking him for a ride was okay with him. Wanda
