where you are its probably unusual, here hardly any horse can get thru the summer months and escape it... and gosh ticks! I just got in from a ride in the woods. on the way home in the truck something tickled and there was a tick on my inner arm! Now I will have to wait a couple of days and find all the hidden ones popping up on Jaspar. ticks are scarey. as for rainrot... susan at www.saddleuptack.com has this stuff called "muck itch" and it is amazing. I forgot about this til last nite.
