Karen, I am so sorry for you, but that is the best way to go. That is what happened to my Joki two years ago. Was fine in the evening, even had a massage that he very much enjoyed and then was down in the morning dead. The grass was not disturbed at all so he just laid down and died. I think it must have been the same for Mac, I only hope that I can be so lucky.
