He sedated him lightly.   Melnir was extremely easy for his general checkup
and for the shots, so he probably could have done it without any sedation.
But he still has some memory of the stitches in his nostrils five years ago,
so I thought it best we sedate him this time.  There's always the argument
too that the vets can see what they are doing better when the horses are
sedated, so I sort of sit on the fence with that subject anyway...
