>>> It is often the biggest problems that I see with many western saddles on Icelandics. This is a treeless saddle??
I think Lori's saddle in that picture is a Barefoot Arizona, and if so, yes, it's treeless. I saw one once - a visitor brought one here. I intended to try it on a couple of my Icelandics, but we got to talking and, we didn't get around to it. I wish I had. I had a Barefoot Cheyenne for a while, but the size 1 was too snug for me so I sold it. The Arizona reminded me a lot of the Cheyenne, in that it is very soft, even "floppy". I got the feeling that there wouldn't be much rigid about it that would rub a horse, but as I said, I didn't actually get around to trying it. The skirting on the Arizona was way softer than anything I've seen on a treed western saddle. Karen Karen Thomas Wingate, NC No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
