natural carriage is not high-headed.  I suspect that when she does an
intermediate gait, whatever that may be, her head may come up a bit.


She is so pretty, Nancy.  I think her head carriage is fairly typical of
Icelandic's although of course, there is variation within the breed.  As for
her head coming up in gait - maybe, if she's prone to rack or saddle rack.
But she just keep that nice, relaxed carriage if her gait(s) of choice are
running walk and/or foxtrot...:)  I look forward to seeing how this unfolds
for you and her.
