I am talking WP or dressage or anything. A soft mouth, a giving mouth, a floating give thruout the whole body deal. It all is the same thing. But, I can be soft and still be asking. They might not like it but...head up in the air, pissed off. I am asking nicely. Reward the positive. The littelest positive motion.
Lukka and I are still working on this. My first year with her, and we both are learning lots. Then we have a totally different mare, Joli. Lukka is like, I don't want to please you but I suppose I can if you want me to. I will take care of you maybe if I want. I LOVE YOU! I am good! Yes, she is!!! I trust her totally. Then Joli'- If you can handle me at first well maybe. I want to go go go, but yes, I will take care of you. She has that dominant look in her eye. They both know who the alpha mare/bitch is.This is all basic 1,2,3. Tom Dorrance type stuff. So easy but so hard.
