I knew that question was going to come up, I only saw it done a couple times as a kid, at the training barns, So, I am not positive I remember it exactly, I was thinking about this last night, after I wrote it... Cause I knew the question would follow...
I never did it personally... they hook the elastics from the breast collar, down to a braclet on the front pasturns... Deep sand works too, it is a way to build the muscles..
