I have not had that experience with Bell boots.. I actually put them on
Jewel last year, while trailriding, cause he was hitting his heels, I had to
get his breakovers corrected, but that took time, so I protected his heels
until I could go without them, yes, maybe the first 10 minutes he moved
differently, but after that it was no big deal...

I saw a new to icy family putting weights on their Icy for a trailride, I
was not pleased to see that... They said their Trainer said that the horse
had to wear them all the time when being ridden, the kid was a good rider,
YOUNG, maybe 13-14 years old, He rode with us for a while.. but, I was not
happy about the weights on the horses hooves... ERR...
