It sure does.

That's one case where a 'faulty" gait might not preclude a horse from being a 
breeding horse.  Some injuries don't bother a mare's ability to carry a 
foal...and injuries aren't genetically transmitted.  (Of course, I guess you 
should consider what caused the injury, because some horses are more 
predisposed to certain injuries due to their conformation.)
