Sorry, I wasn't pointing fingers.  We are pretty lucky here--we have
decent pasture, only a few milkweed, no locoweed in our pasture. We
are plagued w/ bindweed, which one vet said has a lot of adrenalin
compounds in it and can be dangerous for horses to ingest. But in the
quantities that they're eating it, it doesn't appear to have hurt
them.
 I sprayed my pasture one time, a few years ago--that helped a lot. We
hand-pull things like thistle and milkweed. Flixweed is another one we
have, altho not so much in our pasture--that weed we cut down. I've
found a lot of flixweed in crappier quality hay, altho it's safe to
eat.
 Ah well...everyone's pasture has its  own plagues. I actually like
buttercups, and kinda wish we had them here, altho not in the pasture,
as I've heard they are toxic. But they sure are pretty, esp. w/ a
good-looking horse laying in them! :)
