I have no idea if she planned to keep them - she just seemed to go off the deep end for a while. Maybe she would have snapped back to reality eventually, but it was scary - her excuses for not starting east got vaguer and vaguer, and at the same time, she started bragging about changing their feed, 'training them" to load in the trailer - when they didn't have loading problems to begin with. We got the eerie feeling she was beginning to feel like they were hers...almost like one of those stories of the women who want a baby and just go into a hospital and take one. Anyway, the boys got here seven weeks after they were due home...and if it hadn't been for Judy, I have no idea when..or if...we would have gotten them.
