I think this is really important to remember and I generally think that if a
horse is off in their behaviour once or twice it could be - need to pee; off
day; playing too hard etc.  but if it persists then I look further.

It is interesting with the roaning - we have a young gelding here that is
mostly black but in the fall when he is changing his coat his entire back
had a lot of white hair.
