I really wish I had been carrying a camera. The bearded guy was squatting beside a little stream, red kerchief around his neck, and the daughter was holding the raccoon upside down by its tail. A small boy was whipping a long sapling up and down over his head and smacking it on the ground. I finally asked him to stop. It was a real circus and all the horses, although a bit wide-eyed, stood still for the entire scenario.
