I've only had one horse with a kicking problem. And that actually was a mule - Buck the mini mule would kick in a heartbeat when we first got him. He never actually landed a blow on either Cary or me, but he got close several times. I can't remember the last time he even made a half-hearted threat. Buck was seized when he was about 2 or 3 from horrible conditions. There were draft horse carcasses on the premises, where they had starved. Buck was wild as a hare, and probably only made it because he's a mule and because he's little. He was scared, mad as hell and he wasn't planning to take any crap. I say good for Buck. He's a survivor. I think his sense of self-preservation is a lot of what makes him the wonderful little guy he is today. Karen Thomas [EMAIL PROTECTED] No virus found in this outgoing message.
