>>>>> They're all so cute. We have had Fergus, the Boston, and now have Sammie, a Jack Russell, and would have had an English Setter if I could have found one. Instead, I bought Katie, a field type Irish Setter. Your setters are beautiful.
Thanks, I think so, but I'm biased. Both of the setters were throwaway - no clue who owned them previously. Someone found the JRT, and advertised for her, but no one ever claimed her. And I just told the story of the pug puppy. The Boston was the last puppy we had, and may be the last dog we'll ever buy. It's hard to tell by looking at this crew that they are all variations of "rescues". The husband, btw, is a one-owner model, never thrown away. I've paid dearly for him over the past 32 years, but he's been worth it. He was a mere 20 years old when I married the young pup.
