It sounds kind of funny:) My mules will do that, when a moose appeared on the ridge above the house, the mules all snorted and ran in circles, Dari headed for the back corner of the pasture, as far as he could go:) I think he was the smart one in that situation. I don't think we ever had any bears, not that I know of. I never saw one the entire two years I was in Montana, I'm not so sure I want to see one, not that close anyway, defintely not in the horse pasture, I'm glad it turned out ok. Kim
