Absolutely!   


I know today's thread got blown out of proportion on the subject of the 
quadriplegic rider, and I hope no one got their feelings hurt.  I really don't 
believe a soul on the list meant any harm.  Personally, I've been thrilled to 
read about Sylvia's progress with her good-looking boy, as well as Stephanie's 
progress with Tosca.  I love the idea of horses as therapy workers, as long as 
the horses are content in their work, and not overly strained.  I believe most 
of us are on the same page here, and that everyone is being careful with their 
horses - us "Betty's" tend to do that, right?  :)  Mac, the TWH we lost 
recently, was a horse who would have done anything in the world for a child or 
baby animal.  He never worked with a handicapped human, but I expect he would 
have felt "a calling" towards such a job had it presented itself.  


May the world be kind to those special horses that can do these special jobs!
