I saw our NY hay this morning. It looks good, nice, green, smells good...but I'm a little disappointed that the bales are not quite as heavy as I'd hoped - not "air hay", but not tightly baled either. If we drop these bales out of the barn loft, they will 'spatter', I'm afraid. Oh well, it's here and it's ours! Renee, we will move it into our barn tomorrow, so we'll see how it looks better when we can open a few bales. We may still be lacking a little depending on how it looks on closer inspection.
