I rode Skessa out this morning in the new Dr Cook on a new route which included a huge stubble field on the way home. I have a sort of horseback agoraphobia and get really worried by big open spaces, but she was great - we tolted/paced most of the way around it and had a blast. Then this afternoon I went down the beach for a swim - not bad for Wales in mid-September. It's a hard life.
