Since you never know who might know who/what, I thought I'd put this
out there to all of you to see what you can come up with. My
daughter, who is in her first year of vet school this year, will need
to do an equine oriented job this summer to satisfy some of her
practical experience requirements. She needs either to work in a
multi -vet large animal hospital or a horse farm that breeds large
amounts of foals each year. She needs to be paid because we/she
aren't independently wealthy but she is frugal and can get by on not
much. She has to be in a wedding on May 17 but is available after
that. She will go anywhere in the US/Canada but does need to go
somewhere that her fiance can go and find seasonal work. They have to
live apart during the school year and really want to be together at
least during the summer (Ahhh, young love) He is an older student
(30) and has been raft guiding in the summer for the last 4-5 years.
He also is a ski instructor and can pretty much do anything seasonal.
I think he would be willing to do farm work but doesn't have
experience with large animals. Both of them come with outstanding
work and personal references. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated and we will follow up on all leads.

Thanks,
Laree
