something more like that their prey instinct has become lessened in that
they've adapted to that environment. Natural selection and adaptation makes
more sense.

I wasn't quibbling with you personally, Robyn. I'd heard the same thing
many times, so I know you were just quickly quoting something you'd heard.
I just think it's one of the many extreme generalities we hear about
Icelandic's, and that we need to question them all - not that there might
not be a grain of truth (or many grains) in them.

There may be some good in some of Hempfling's works too. I can't say that
for sure, because I sure don't know that much about him. I just think
anyone who gives clinics, sells books, whatever, should have their
credentials questioned before we believe everything they say. That even
applies to attractive young men with exotic accents...or maybe ESPECIALLY to
them. Some will stand up to questioning, and some won't. I'm not singling
out Hempfling particularly; I'd ask the same questions about Gudmar, Pony
Boy (although his accent hints of NYC sometimes, he has assumed that Indian
persona), or Clinton Anderson....or a certain young, attractive John Lyons
trainer in our area. In fact, I question any trainer/clinician, any age,
any gender, but I'm just particularly skeptical of ones who seem...well,
particularly enamored of their appearances.
