I have seen horses that could not be roundpenned in the way most can be. I have talked to some roundpen "experts" about it and they say different horses respond in different way to pressure, perceived pressure... some can tolerate only the barest amount of pressure while others need a lot more than normal...really young horses dont do well in a roundpen at all, they are more sensitive to pressure. some horses perceive you looking at them as "pressure" janice -- yipie tie yie yo
