>>>> He's not only beautiful on the outside, his sweet expression suggests
he's also pretty on the inside. Is he as nice as he looks?

Thanks, Nancy, Virginia, Janice and Sarah. He's very sweet, but just a
little shy. He was young when he came, five I think, just started a few
months prior, so we've seen him progress a lot since we got him. He's eight
this year. He's a great trail horse, and has been Mr. Dependable Trail Guy
since he first arrived. He's a little on the slow-but-steady but very
dependable. He has a running walk that is to-die-for - I could ride it all
day. This weekend his one known vice returned...he started doing a little
grass-grabbing on the trail. I thought we were past that, but I guess the
drought makes that relatively lush outside-the-fence grass just a little too
tempting. He wasn't TOO bad, but we'll get to work on that anyway.

He's one of the Icelandic's that will turn away from you (or butt towards
you, if you prefer to see it that way...) if he's uncertain, but he will
also nudge you gently from behind if he likes you and wants your attention.
He's quite a gentle soul I think. That eats into my heart, but I guess it
might not appeal to everyone.
