I went to our local lake/resevoir today. It is Lake Lahonton here in Fallon, NV. The lake is fed by the Carson River and Truckee River and is dependant on the snowpack in the Sierras. This is nearing the end of irrigation season, so the lake is low. Last year, at the beginning of irrigation season after a really wet winter, there was NO BEACH whatsoever! It is a State Park, and we are allowed to take horses.
