I think, ultimately, that the goal should be to have, ride, and appreciate 
Icelandic Horses without nosebands.

It takes some time and effort to understand the mechanics of the bits, and the 
nosebands, and the combination thereof.

Less is more.

And there's no way to hide bad hands and bits.
