we are having SOMETHING coming, a "sub-tropical" storm, they say it is
similar to a "nor-easter" up north and now the tv has the warning
buzzer saying a tornado is forming in the gulf and headed inland.

When I got home the horses were upset acting. jaspar put his rear to
me and ears back and wouldnt turn to me when I tried to pet him, then
when I walked away he followed and called to me. All of them were
standing at their gates. The wind was whipping and the sky is very
black and the rain comes in spits and it is getting worse by the hour.
I thought of turning them out like you are supposed to do in a
hurricane but in the mood they were in I could tell they would be more
upset by a sudden drastic change in routine since they were all fed
and in for the night. I gave them extra hay for warmth against the
rain and wind and to keep their minds off things. It is probably
tivar's first big blow, I'm not sure, but him and nasi always seem
they dont even notice bad weather.

With fencing them off my new planted area of grass I don't have a
shelter for the jaspar herd and I thought of switching them to Nasi
and Tivars paddock since they dont seem to be bothered by bad rain but
again, I just sensed they would be more upset by a sudden drastic
change in weather AND routine...

In the morning I will take my camera out and get footage of the storm
:) It probably wont be bad and we need the rain! But I hope no one
else is hurt by it...
