He was initially excited and a bit hyper, but we kept on with our plain old walk, discussing our day and catching up on each other's news. You could gradually see Dagur's head relax and you could see that he was really getting into it. There were a few goosey moments like when he passed a dead tree that had fallen across the trail and the branch caught in Cara's coat and made a huge snap....but then when the skunk scampered through the grass, Dagur didn't even pay attention to him.
