Dave's saddles are very nice western saddles, and he can make them to fit SOME Icelandics, for SOME riders. But Dave will tell you himself, that he can't make them that will work for every rider. I'm glad you have one coming that hopefully will work for you, but no saddle works for all horses, and some horses simply aren't happy in treed saddles. I'm not a saddle dealer, so I don't have any vested interest in what saddles people use. It took me YEARS to realize this, and I probably bought and sold 40-50 saddles during that period. (Thank God for ebay...Someday I will list them and actually count, but it hurts to think about it!) I simply wouldn't wish that long, painful, and expensive process on anyone. Karen Thomas, NC
